why arent these used/talked about much?

just wondering why most people on here dont talk about the high end series of Pioneer? i know they arent as popular as most, but whats up with all the claims on their site? they seem to have these world records. like here for example:

i mean, how would they stack up to brands like RE, etc..

the subs are rated and look huge, but i never see anyone talk about them

i never seen any in action myself

are they overrated? just wonderin coz i never see much about their SPL series on here

yea the "trend" just hasnt hit them, lately it seems like a L7 trent on some of the boards

the trend won't ever hit for them. they're almost 2 years old now and for most people, pioneer isn't known for subs. they are great for the $ though.

Ive seen some of the subs in USACi events and they do well, people on this site just dont seem to use them

my local car audio shop has a 5000spl and i played around with it powered off of a 1000/1, and dam that thing can slam. i also played an arc audio 12d4 off the 1000/1 and i think i blew it, it makes a really noticeable rattling noise now when it plays. needless to say i left in a hurry.
