Have you ever tried a cap with a battery? Let alone a 100 farad cap with a kinetik and yellow top? Imagine the gobs of power stored up for a nice showdown.

1 inch pine 1.27cubes with 4inch pvc port tuned to 40hz. It was a last minute throw together box that wasnt even glued just alot of screws and silicone. I just had to make to local comp. Ugliest thing I ever built but I got lucky and burped good.

That's cool if you don't believe. I have nothing to prove to anyone. I don't care about OTHER people's builds because I know I took 2nd that day. I did none of the leg work myself(as far as installation). I was sponsored through a local car audio dealership out here in wasilla called image audio. Just follow my next build. I'm shooting for 168+ Which is gonna be a time consuming prick. Normally I'm a RF guy which is why this build I'm talking about was all RF as you can see in the pics but I heard 2 FI BTL's literally next to me while I was bumping. This guy was in a civic and was flexing his windows thus why I'm a true FI audio believer. I think we could all agree here that with the right setup 1 12" could do 150. So what I'm hearing is that RF T2's and the t40001BD aren't capable of power, I'm a dirty troll and I should hang myself. LOL. Like I even said earlier maybe the older mic was a problem as another guy said but 163.4 is what I saw and what hundreds of others saw. So if I came in lying saying what everyone wanted to hear I'd be hailed but because I speak on what I saw I'm a liar. That's cool.

But you people intrigue me with how little your education is on electricity. Don't get me wrong some people here know what their doing but most have no clue where they should start and learning about a cars electrical system is a good place to start. ANY GOOD BUILDER WILL TELL YOU TO INVEST YOUR TIME AND MONEY IN THE BOX, THE CHARGING SYTEM AND A close 3rd being the head unit. Without the right combination of those 3 things your doomed from the start.

So then I ask....can 4 SP4's NOT top 168? Is this unacheivable? Impossible? I refuse to do walls. Hate em. Can't stand the way most look. There are a few setups that have a pretty nice build but otherwise I stay away from walls. I prefer crazy SPL over a nice looking setup. I'm not a show off but I like to be heard. I once timed how far away I could be heard and was at 2minutes 37 seconds before my car was even visible.

Yea nobody does cause his numbers are realistic sa12s are **** near in the league of the t2 and if you wanted to go all out a nightshade 12 would destroy a t2 12. Your 4000w amp prolly didnt make more than 3k with just 2 batts and a cap unless your alt was rediculously big. Physics and ohms law prove this. 4000w requires 400amp minimum to make and two batts an a cap cant be good for half of that figure.

your box is a typical ported box which while ported boxes do have advantages its no where near the acoustic advantage of a 4th order.

and just because you saw some fi woofers flex a car that doesnt mean the setup was loud it just means he is losing a lot of volume and pressure from the flex. Fi Is a good company but you going in thinking you can just make a 170 on 4 subs and 7kw of power is ludacris.

I agree 160+ is hard to achieve. After I spent 15k I did it. It wasn't cheap at all and I didn't stay with mom or dad. In fact I worked 3 jobs for what I wanted. So I know how difficult it is to achieve. Most folks wouldn't think about putting more than 5k in a system so they'll never quite understand the full power of the system they own.

What'd you spend 15k on?
