Why are atomic 3000.1ds so cheap???

Was Atomic the first 3000 watt amp released here by Zenon? I don't know why they're so cheap, but its been like that a long time. I remember SPL Guru selling a dozen or so atomic amps i believe for 350 shipped each a year or 2 ago. They're still tanks, but the Sundown is really more for the CS and support. I could've got 2 atomics for the same price as the Sundown 3k, and i still went with the Sundown just incase for the badass warranty. (This is the price back when there wasn't an updated sundown 3k, just the original heatsink.)

I am not sure if the Atomic 3K is the same as the old Zenon based SAZ-3000D/RD3250v1 or if it's the same as the really really old SPL Dynamics EXT-3000D. Either way, amps are about the same, but the boards were different and the transformers were higher voltage in the EXT-3000D....

It is a 2 year warranty. I've had an amp on the 5th owner 23 months old and I replaced it for the guy since he had documentation.

looking at a sundown and atomic board its hard to tell any differences at all so im assuming they are indeed the same board but i could be mistaken. Im not expert on amps by any means but you can get pics of both boards on google and they look very similar
