Why all the JL HATE on here?

The W6v2 is one of my favorite subs at any price bracket. The rest of their speaker line doesn't interest me all that much.


This forum is full of bassheads, so a speaker like the W6v2 wouldn't interest them.

keep in mind people comparing jl audio to dd is apples to oranges. dd is built to get loud and from what i understand doesnt sound all that great when it comes to sq, while jl is targeted more towards the sq side and does what it is designed to do.

not a fanboy of either brand just kinda stating an opinion

JL is good, but too expensive for what you get.
Try having a blown JL woofer thats out of warranty reconed.

personally i think JL and DD are overpriced

i sure as hell wouldn't have bought my 10w7 if i didnt get it for $105 locally

Not really hate. I have heard the W6, and think they are very good speakers. On to price. I would rather have something comperable for 1/2 the price.

That's my thought as well.. they seem to be both over-priced.. but my point is no one cares to mention that about DD subs. Price seems to be over-looked when you are nut hugging.

I don't think DD subs **** or anything, or JL subs for that matter as I don't have any experience with either or any other real expensive subs...
