Why all the hate on W7's?

I read, and I listened.You make some valid points.Like I said, the 3ohm coil is mostly for marketing.Hey, if you can sell someone your sub, try to sell them your amps too.Make it seem like the amps were made to go with the subs.I agree the audible difference will be minimal, but hey.It was their choice to go with.
The reason so many companies are out there right now (and successful) is becasuse everyone has different tastes.Not everyone will like the way one sub sounds.Not everyone will like the way one set of speakers sounds.Not everyone will like the way a certain amp sounds in their install.Not everyone will like the same head unit.And so on, and so forth.Variety is nice.

Yes I know dealer costs on the W7 (well, last time I checked), but I will not post exact prices.But I'll say that the 12" is around $400.

Its the same with everything else. Alot of people bash brands simply because everyone else does. Xbox Fan boys bash Playstation, vica versa. Honda fanboys bash everything else.. everyone else bashs Hondas. lol.. I've had alot of "Maintstream" subs. I've never really gotten into the "internet" subs. Mainly, because no dealers are around here. I'm not buying something I can't test/hear before purchase. Now if there where more distrubtors for the "internet" brand, maybe I would consider them.. but then, they wouldn't be "internet" brands anymore..

In all my experiance.. if you have haters.. you're doing something right. JL FTW.

But iif i had the prices for a few companies i would post them at every forum.. RE to be first.. There starting to tick me off a lil bit, other than the new chick and scott ( who rarely answers) they seem to be a bunch of RE tard s ( no pun) And man was that david ever a ***** if i ever saw one.. Gonna have to disagree with you on everything except the whole RE thing (which I'm also very skeptical about)
You might feel that the TDX is just as good, but the W7 does have advantages over it and is capable of playing cleaner and louder technically. Same goes for pretty much all other SQL woofers out there except for the new XXX.

are you crazy...SI Mag, Old Brahmas ,SS...etc these are all equal or better than the W7...I think you must work for Jl you get hyping it! not being a smartass but you are not being realistic about this.

JL started out being the boner back in the day and now theres two kinds of people that hate on JL. The people in the know that are getting fed up people telling them that JL is God among subs, or people that like to act condensending; the "i've heard better" type of guy. They're usually the ones that jump on the bandwagons.

I'd love to get one and play with it, but frankly just too rich for my blood. I find it hard to believe they aren't awesome subs, hype aside, because usually hype is founded on some level when its so widespread. At least as far as electronics goes. I can't afford to toss that kind of cash at a sub, but that doesn't mean its not worth it for someone who can.

Whats all the fus about. Everybody know if they could afford certains things they will. For example(GMC Denali or that Cadillac suv) same truck just different price tag. If u could afford it, u likey get the caddy because its a caddy. Same thang wit jl, they just can afford it. On the other hand Im like everybody else I cant. Im happy wit my d6s; the hell wit jl.
