Im scared for Machida. I hope he wins but I think shougun looks good and will cause him alot of problems.... I hope Im wrong

Yeah I was pulling for Machida I like him a lot but I don't see how Machida can have the quickness to take this fight now after those kicks. Shogun looks good

Im glad he won. But shogun won that fight, But it is true, You have to beat the champion to be champion. If it was a regular fight without the title shogun would of won.

I thought that was a 4 rounds to 1 win for Shogun.... They really need to go over scoring procedures. If Machida won 2 rounds, MAYBE, not 3-2 unanimous? Wow... I wanted Machida to win, but I'm pissed he did now.

I would hope there is a rematch in the near future, but doubt that will happen

Yup I feel the same...I wanted him to win but didnt deserve it at all wow, I cant even see him DEFINITELY winning 1 round.

the 10 point must system is usually pretty bad...but this is beyond horrible

they should do PRIDE rules, where they judge the fight overall

Besides the leg kicks shogun really didnt to much. Those knees machida landed to the midsection where HARD! Plus shogun couldnt take him down and machida had two or three rushes which score high on the cards. Ya shogun looked like he did more but to me it was pretty even,
