pv, u gatdaam oreo!!People tell me all the time (they only say it once, however) that I act white because I come from a household of two parents who are physicians, am majoring to be an EE and would rather make prototype circuitry instead of get yayoed up, and because I speak in a professional manner so I can be taken seriously. If acting black means that people are justified in calling me slurs, ****, I'll bleach myself any day. What people don't realize is that black is only a skin color, nothing more. It is not a personality, it is not a way of life or speaking. To tell a black person that they act or speak white is blatant backhanded racism.
pffffft, u talk about anamaloies...... how about a black doctor or a black female doctor?!!?!?! i can count on one hand how many black female doctors i seen in the last 5 years ( not on tv,but face to face). its like seein a unicornBetter yet are the white people who say they're "reverse oreos" even though the moment they speak correctly, no one would pay them any difference. A black guy in a business suit is still an anomaly though.
I see both every day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifpffffft, u talk about anamaloies...... how about a black doctor or a black female doctor?!!?!?! i can count on one hand how many black female doctors i seen in the last 5 years ( not on tv,but face to face). its like seein a unicorn
It said it on the show. I'm too lazy to find a link b/c I don't really care. I thought it was a bit whack also. This is the most fallacious statistic I've ever seen in my life. Provide me a link with proof.
No, those numbers rely on the #1 statistical fallacy: extrapolation. As I said before, they are fallacious. It said it on the show. I'm too lazy to find a link b/c I don't really care. I thought it was a bit whack also.
EDIT: I found this in less than a minute. "· It is estimated that 1 in every 4 Black males, 28% of the Black male population, will be incarcerated in a federal or state prison at least once in their lifetime "

Not trying to start anything.
Thats what both shows seemed like to me. I watched a little over 1/2 of both of them.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Don't worry, I'm not upset; I just hate it when people use small bits of data and say well, this happened here, so it must be true everywhere.

I tend to think that you will see less of this attitude as you get older and you associate with professionals more simply because of your job. For example, I would think that you, as a student, see more of this than your parents do.People tell me all the time (they only say it once, however) that I act white because I come from a household of two parents who are physicians, am majoring to be an EE and would rather make prototype circuitry instead of get yayoed up, and because I speak in a professional manner so I can be taken seriously.
