Who's lying?

or use a digital multimeter and put it on the speaker terminals and turn your music on your "special" volume number and measure the AC voltage then take that number times .707 to get your RMS output. You'll be surprised how many watts you're puttin out. A guy at a car audio store told me to use one to see how much power an amp is puttin out instead of those stupid test tones.

stupid test tones? I hope thats what you were playing while you measured the voltage otherwise you're going to have some pretty iradic and useless numbers. And no this is not a good test, i'm sure that amp could put out well more then it says, but its going to start clipping like a ***** and i wouldn't count that has a useable range of watts for that amp.

not haters, they just have had a bad reputation for lying in the past. ben and the guys over there have been caught so many times with being dishonest, i wouldnt trust anything i heard from them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
x2

i've just stopped trying to buy from them after getting the run around for wayyy too long on several occasions....

"oh we're waiting for this come in"

"oh we're having problem with customs"

"oh this one company was suppose to do this but hasn't yet"

"yeahhhh, its already been 5 months but give us a few more months"

like some of the others have already said, there are wayy better sub companies out there otherwise if you like the look, go with ID, if you want the amps, go with avionixx, and cdt for the speakers, you can get the eDead v3 of selectproducts and their peel and seal is really just peel and seal and check out sounddeadenershowdown if you have other doubts

lol.. reminds me of US Amps.. There website claimes 1521 @ 1 ohm for the MD2, their manual shows 1800 @ 1 ohm and then the catalog for dealers shows 1950 @ 1 ohm.

So wheres the US Amps flaming? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D

lol

From what I have been told, it suppose to be the dealer number is the correct one. Not sure though. I need to get mine tested to see which it really is though.

md2s have been benched at 1950 at 1 ohm.

as for that AC voltage times .707 there is no way that is correct due to ohms law

watts = volts^2 / ohms

SO

watts = 36^2 / 4 = 324 rms

kooky forumla --- 36 x .707 = 25.452 watts

This would mean that a wall socket hooked hooked to a 4 ohm woofer owudl output 84.84 watts .. i am rpetty sure it is more then that. using ohms law it owuld be

watts = 120^2 / 4 = 3600 watts rms (this owudl be correct value)

now thats fucked up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

No this is not accurate. It's a complete waste of time...

and i got a new amp and ditched my piece of shit Soundstorm 350.2 one and here are it's specs which i think are alittle overrated

Lightning Audio B4.250.2 2 channel amp

Maximum Power: 750 watts

85 rms x 2 at 4 ohms

125 rms x 2 at 2 ohms

250 rms x 1 at 4 ohms bridged

thing i don't get is shouldn't the power double when it goes to 2 ohms and why's it say 125 rms at 2 ohms, it SHOULD be 170 rms x 2 at 2 ohms since you went from 4 ohms to 2 ohms right and about the bridged power i'm guessin it will hit around 200 watts, i'll measure it with a 50 hz test tone today and show the results.

i think i'll just by a mono amp since they have good efficiency and will put out the rated ****in power!

It's 65 x 4 @ 12 volts, you can expect around 75-80ish x 4 @13.8 volts

The 2000 watt rating on the Nine.1 is for TWO Nine.1s stacked.

The reason the rated numbers are odd on the Nine.4 is because their amps are conservatively rated, ie: a Nine.1 typically puts out closer to 1500 watts @ 1 ohm, given a healthy electrical system.
