Yes, in an extended cab.

Shouldn't affect performance.
But as a rule of thumb I try to keep the subs as far away from the port opening(s) as possible.

there is obviously different ways of doing it, i was just trying to figure out the most effecient to put up numbers

subs and port up worked good for a friend of mine...153+ with a pair of 12's.

i've tried facing them every way possible with subs and ports on the same plane. downfiring was loudest to my ear. my next build i'm firing subs down and ports forward. subs being 4 inches off the floor and ports firing forward as close to the floor as i can get them. aero's of course.

i also, have heard down firing the subs and port was the loudest in an ext.cab. but i have personally never tried it.

my subs are facing the rear of cab and port is firing upward

i have my sub in the middle(up), port on the passenger side(up). Gets relatively loud but i think i can do better.

I wanna try sub up and port forward or switched around( sub forward, port up)

For some reason i cant see sub up and port to the side getting to loud in my truck( 4 door quad cab) I think it would rattle my door off

Wondering which way to face my ports and subs, i was thinking to just put both up, but i'm having so much trouble fitting these freaking 20" long ports into my box designs i'm about to change everything. Help please

i saw 1 15 do a 145 at the headrest sub forward port driver side. i also saw 4 8's do a 145 sub up port driver side so idk.
