Well, to tell the truth, those Smarties which are a product of Nestle may very well only be made in Canada for those which are intended for consumption in the Northern Hemisphere - I honestly wouldn't know.

The former are only made in Canada.

The latter are made in the us as well as Canada.

well when someone says smarties the first thing that comes to mind is the bottom ones so this is y theres really no reason to clarify which ones hes talking about

It is made in AUS, so probably not, but there could be the equvalent in different packaging. If you had a pic of the inside then a comparo would be easy.

In Australia the Violet Crumble is direct competition for Cadbury's 'Crunchie' bar which I know you lot have up there north of our border.

They are similar but not quite the same - but close enough to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.
