who works at CC?

Gotta tell them about it during your pitch...even just mentioning it. If you bring it up at the end of the sale they aren't going to want it most of the time.
alright how would u bring it up in the middle of the convo. about it? can u give me a line or something to use? i would appricate it

 
If it's a product that's getting installed, then something like this:

(say it's a free radio install)

'we also offer free installation on this radio (normally a $35 charge). We also offer extended service plans that can cover your radio for up to 4 years.'

Then, later when you ask for the sale,

Explain the extended service plan. NEVER use the word warranty. Call it a service plan, or protection plan. I don't know if you have the CA kits, but those come in handy- they come with coupons for $10 off install. If I'm selling a DSR with install, I can get service 95% of the time- say it's the Starmate- 2 year plan is $12.99, and take $10 off install, they only pay $3 for 2 years of service...who would turn that down?

do u have to break it down by months? or do u not do that at all? man i need my **** CA up cause i got everything down my sales are higher then Full time people but my CA is like Merch people that dont do sales.

so just introducing it as a service plan or a protection plan covers it up? cause i can get it on big things over 1000$ over but like people who come in and buy that Pioneer mp8 is like 40$ for 2 years they are like Fuk that. so how u throw them in too that?

 
id go with the protection plan, and like snova said NEVER say warranty thats almost a guaranteed no, people dont like warranties, especially when a product already has one. I work at toys r us and we sell something similar called a buyer protection plan i usually introduce it at the end of the sale, something along the lines of "have you heard about our protection plan,...." then explain drastic examples of stuff that could happen.

idk how yours works but our bpp we send you a check in the mail if we cant fix it so i usually tell people that they can intentionally break it when something newer and better comes out so that they can get that and not be out what they paid for the item that they are buying. works 9 out of 10 times.

 
Well let them know that if something goes wrong with their product and they don't have CA, that it will have to be sent out to service at their own expense, and expect to be without it for 1-2 months.

 
im having the same problems tacking on warranty when i sell CA. I work at good guys. and Noone wants and extended warrany untill u tell them speaker usally die out around 1 1/2 yrs. Whihc is right after the warranty expirses. Works somtimes. But like eveyrone said dont use the word warranty.

 
if its a satalite radio they subscribe to it...why not protect your subscription? does your plan cover road hazzards? how much lei way do the service people give you on abuse/accidents?

 
ok so i would tell them to plug their speaker into a wall socket when it is discontinued if they find something that they like better.... or just when they want to upgrade so they have a nib one to sell.

no he was talking about a satalite radio. when we did xm and they bought service we would take care of antena issues (like car wash ripping them off the car ect ect) i realize the antenas are smaller now so the probability is alot less key point is asking installers and service people problems that occur and how the service plans may help and apply it. you get better through experience but other than that you gotta find the nitches ... 7/10 times with me on service i sold it due to the fact it protects their unit for 4 years and they pay a monthly rate to listen to it. 40 dollar service plan (what it was at bby dont know about cc) vs hundred dollar unit plus installation....... covered for 4 years

yea i was just saying since he stated that is what they covered for speakers for sat radio i wouldnt know howto approach it unless i was in the situation where i had to be the one selling it.
