who will beat the pats?

Ok here goes......... I know i'm gonna catch hell for this one but.........

The Pats will lose to The Cleveland Browns in the AFC championship game.

:puts on flame retardant suit:

now let the flaming begi............
considering the browns have to hope Tennessee loses (if they win, the browns are out period) I don't think they will go to the Championship game.

Serious, I think without Moss they wouldn't be undefeated. That guy has put so many points on the board this year it's retarded.
moss is without a doubt a future hall of famer... great player.

BUT! There are only a select few players who seem to have playoffs, and more importantly SUPERBOWLS follow them. Some of these players are the most hated players in football history... some are the most loved. Jerry Rice-loved. Deion Sanders-Hated (couldn't stop taking teams to superbowls, until his pathetic end in the NFL) and Terrel Owens has a small reputation for being on teams with very high success rates. there are many more players... even better examples than I mentioned. Just wanted to point out that Randy Moss shouldn't be considered a difference maker. Tom Brady makes recievers famous. PERIOD.

sorry to burst your bandwagon bubble but the colts are nowhere near the team the pats are.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Bandwagon?? Go back and look at past years nfl threads, and you will see me talking about the colts as I have every year. Sorry to bust your bandwagon patriots bubble, or whatever you want to call it, but your statement is incorrect. The teams are pretty evenly matched. If they were nowhere near the team the pats were, then why in hell did we only loose in the last 2 minutes of the game without our best reciever even playing? That would have been like the pats playing without moss... Either way, all excuses aside, It will be a very close game reguardless of what so called cocky pats fans may think.. Hopefully this time, a different outcome will happen.

I can agree with most of that except for the points that 'Moss is not a difference maker'. Maybe not before, I think he is now. Somehow he matured a crapload over the point of the last year and he is nowhere even close to the same person he was. Good on Moss!! Pats are gonna win the Superbowl with Moss or not, I'm saying that they wouldn't be undefeated if he wasn't there. Great post though!!

You find it funny that it took New England to take over the game in two minutes and have your Colts blow the game in only 120 seconds?

I admit it was a even match, with or without harrison, but for a team to just suddenly pull it together and win in 2 minutes against the only team that is said to be able to beat them is ridiculous.

The colts can beat the patriots, but not in the playoffs in foxborough in the cold.

Moss is not a difference maker. If he was Oakland would have been good.

He's suddenly happy now that he has a future-hall-of-fame QB at the reigns having his career year and him being the main target on a team full of pro-bowlers and other offensive weapons to make double teaming him just as dangerous.

yes.

Difference Maker.

YOu mention the cold weather, but have you forgotten about addai? If I remember correctly, he pretty much single handedly asmost beat the pats.. He exploited their defense bad. Which tells me the colts will do fine in the cold. We have a good run game, so im not worried about the weather.. If anything, you should be worried about moss catching in the cold weather. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Addi had one big play at the end of the half which was due to some bad tackling, I wouldn't say he exploited the defense it was only one play. The pats made adjustments at halftime and completly shutdown Payton ad CO in the second half. I would say that Indy's secondary got exploited in the last two minutes of the game. This time Indy wont have Freeny so New England doens't have to worry about much of a pass rush.

he is definately an improvement to any team. I guess my point was that as far as that team is conscerned... Tom Brady-and his evil mastermind coach are the difference makers. Even after the first two superbowl rings most of america couldn't name two WR's from the Pat's. Yet, here they are... a dynasty.

(aside from his sloppy games... watch out for my boy romo. this is his first full season in the NFL. get ready //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

yea im sorry man i see what you mean, but i just think the patriots have ALOT more depth than the colts do, without manning they would most likely be nothing. you have an amazing QB and an alright team, the patriots have an otherworldly offensive line and QB plus an outstanding all around team. now i am no means a pats fan(i like the steelers) but as of now they are unparalleled by any other team now or ever.
