Yes, that's two (2) Helix HXA500's (5-channel)... vertically bi-amped set-up to maximize stereo seperation.

Speaks (for now): Alpine 6062GD (6" midbass), 6042GD (4" midrange), 6022 (large-format Dynaudio-made D-28 clone tweeter)

Will eventually switch up to Quart QSDs or perhaps RS Audio or Visaton offerings...probably next IASCA season...

Sub setup:

Helix HXA1000Qx (600x1 @ 2 ohm @ 12V, unregulated, class A/B) >>> Soundstream EXACT 10"s in Mr. Marv built enclosure (.5 cu ft. per chamber)

If I ever get a new truck, I may switch to an Arc Flatline, but for now, this is working great for me.

Deadening: RAAM

I have yet to hear a louder yet smooth & poised at high volume fronstage than my own. Not bragging , just haven't come across it from auditioning a few members here and ECA members cars. As far as SPL portion i have no doubt i'd score fine in that dept. competing in SQ.

I definitly has the 'fun' factor going on- high energy , great midbass impact. Very wide, open, and centered stage. But i realize the stage depth could be improved, and not perfect- will get a better idea next year when i compete.

I don't really frequent these forums all too much -- never really did. Usually just lurk and laugh at some of the ridiculous things people say (particularly raving about products that they heard from a cousin of a friend of a distant second half-brother was good). Or peek around and check out what the latest boner is.
