can't for ppl to buy american products especially when american products are usually inferior. would you rather drive a Chevy Malibu or a 5 series BMW?

Once upon a time America was the leader in innovation, including automobiles. It's sad that American greed has ruined this country. Once we started importing the cheaper products, American made products could not compete. In order to compete with the other countries on price we had to sacrifice on quality. The main reason is American's have a certain standard of living where other, say the Chinese has a much lower standard of living so our overhead is a lot more than theirs. Where we have OSHA and safety standards they don't, we have labor laws where they have child labor. Most companies offer some sort of benefits and retirement, there you are exposed to toxins. All because we want to save money. Its the same reason we import raw materials from over seas. How many toys have lead i them? Companies want to make as much profits as possible

She is addicted to Fox news and eats up every story and conspiracy that they 'report'. It is laughable yet angering how she eats it all up and digests it, then tries to regurgitate it to me as fact.

American companies supply what Americans want. That's why American's need to want decent quality stuff made in America, because that's what companies will make. It's a supply and demand economy.
