this. me and holic had a small convo about this in a previous thread, the pesident doesnt have nearly as much power as people think he does but does have a lot of influence on the people. once again a president is just a scapegoat.

For the most part, Presidents can make anything not they want. Only 110 of the total 2564 vetoes have been overridden. And while the President does significantly steer the country where he wants it, he can't make EVERYTHING he wants to happen, happen.
