ya but even then who is to say the deals arent a scam? I mean ya it would cut down on F/ S threads but, a scammer could just post a bunch then scam away.

True, but anything you choose will just be arbitrary...unless you can technically make OT posts not contribute to post count ( which I am questioning the feasability of such an idea) and reputation...

On my mustang (classics) forum, you must apply in order to post a FS thread. I think here that would overwhelm the mods. Not saying they are incapable, we just receive a lot more traffic

that's why you need approval before you are allowed into the classified section. your account won't be allowed to view the classifieds if you are not approved
