You forgot about a little important thing called OFC. Welding wire will oxidize.go with whats cheapest. its before all the processing, a volt is a volt, it doesent care how it gets there. go with the cheap (but still flexible) stuff
+1For DC cross-sectional area, not surface area counts for conductivity. All the strard count does is make it more flexible. Under normal circustances, OFC won't matter and neither will tinned wire. Both simply equal more $ out of your pocket.
Try and find another fuse holder that's 1/0 and can accept both ANL and MAXI's.and also, honestly, not to knock your purchase... but when you say a "top notch fuse holder", i want to know what makes it any better than any other fuse holder...
