Who listens to Metalcore?

I usually like darker vocals as well. saw a video for winds of plague and it looked like the singer was a rapper with the way he was dressed. The keyboard lady is smokin

You saw "The Impaler" music vid. The whole video is making fun of rappers, thats why he was dressed like that. haha

I like bands that can play live, evolve as they go, and aren't the same recycled shit as other bands.

Genre withstanding. Could give a **** about subgenres.

Because its just like "Rock". If someone says they listen to Rock, thats a HUGE genre. Classic? Soft? Hard? You get the point. I listen to deathcore, metalcore, black metal, progressive metal, and new american metal. I hate thrash and I hate speed. It has to be broken down because there are many different styles.

I agree with having to break it down. There can't be just straight metal, but I think it's getting a little obnoxious as far as how broken down they get it. That and also the fact that pretty much most bands blur the lines between the two. Tie in with the fact that if you straight playing one specific genre and type consistently, you will get boring very quick. Maybe that's more of the bands I listen to.
