Gucci straight up out the hood. He just got out of jail for I am not sure exactly what. I just know that Gucci and Jeezy got beef with each other. Gucci screwed Jeezy out of some money in the song they did together "Im so Icy" and Jeezy sent some dudes to get it. Well Gucci's homies killed Jeezy's homies. But Gucci plead self defense and only spent a year in jail. I am pretty sure thats what happened.

There are plenty of good rappers out now. Cory Gunz, Drake, Bobby Creekwater, Wale, B.O.B, Asher Roth, Charles Hamilton, Lupe Fiasco, everybody in slaughterhouse (Joe Budden, Royce, Crooked I, Joell Ortiz), Nino Bless, Termanology, Young Chris from Young Gunz, Immortal Technique, and the list goes on and on. I can't stand it when people say hip hop is dead or there's no good rappers out. You should say that the stuff they play on the radio sucks instead.

I appreciate Gucci for what he is, music to beat down the block to, if you listen to Gucci looking for meaningful hip-hop, then you are stupid. People complain that hes trash, not lyrical, etc. Gucci says that himself, he doesn't make music listen you sit down to listen to trying to find a deeper meanign of life or some shit like that(thats what you have truly good rappers for). He'll have a nice line ever so often, but he's not AS bad as he used to be, but he is nowhere near good. This is all coming from a big fan of him.
