I consider any new rap to be completely retarded. Any time I turn on the radio, which thankfully I rarely do anymore, I think to myself "this stupid shit is seriously on the radio?" I think the most modern rap cd I have is Immortal Technique's 2004 release, Revolutionary Vol. 2. Other than that I listen to early and mid 90's rap like BDP, Mobb Deep, old Outkast(pre-stankonia), Rakim, etc.
That and some Pink Floyd and Zeppelin mixed in there as well as some Saul Williams. New rap is for retards and immature, wannabe gangsters...and annoying white bitches.

Outkast post Stankonia is just as good. It's their evolution.

im not far from gucci's stomping grounds. being right outside of ATL you hear/see alot of this stuff. i was in atlanta one time when some streets were closed for a Gucci video. in atlanta there is Big Oomp records. their shop has awesome mixes for around 5-10 dollars a CD. on any given day you can walk in there and DJ Unk is just chilling in there.

gucci mane is da shit he does say some stupid shit but he also has some good lines i do agree more not then do, but nowa days what he does is popular, hes way better at it then any other rapping in the game. On another note Yo gotti has better lyrics and his beats go just as hard. Down load Cocaine Music 2 gurantee you wont leave the house without it on.
