I have heard quite a few times over the last month or 2 bout people with 6.5" subs sitting huge numbers and even 10/12" subs hitting 145-150's with a couple hundred watts.I guess its true "everything is enclosure dependent".

How is it possible for them to come up with the designs that they use? And what do they use like a horn loaded, bandpass(what order) or some type of hybrid box? I have always wondered what a box design that produces those numbers with minimal power would be.

Anyone here ever designed something like that?

Just involves lots of testing and playing around with box size, port area and length, etc.

I did a 149.3 with a single 10" and ~800 watts.

No crazy weird box design, no weird bandpasses. It was a ported box, two 4" aeroports.

regardless of same equipment or whatever. i dont care bout that. could someone show an example of boxes that have been tested a ton like this or at least specs on it. i just wanna know what airspace is like and how much port relatively
