Well i want to go mudding but i dont want to get one of those utilitie ATV's like the ones u use for a farm..
I am just warning you now. You buy a raptor or banshee and take it in the mud you had better be prepaired to spend lots of money to fix it. It WILL break. Even faster in the mud.Well i want to go mudding but i dont want to get one of those utilitie ATV's like the ones u use for a farm..
That is true for the Banshee but not for the RaptorI am just warning you now. You buy a raptor or banshee and take it in the mud you had better be prepaired to spend lots of money to fix it. It WILL break. Even faster in the mud.
like i was gonna say, if your going to spend the money spend the extra 1000 and get a YFZ, they will be faster than the raptor, 450R and a predator, 450 r would be the biggest challenge, and they can go through allot of mud for how they are built, im sure you know your not gonna be able to go through 3 ft of mud/water with it , but you will need a big atv to accomplish thata 700r is actually only a 686 and is 10x better than the 660r... if you want to mud but still be fast a raptor would be the best best.. plus it has reverse... banshee's are faster but since they're two strokes they can be tempermental.. and they really don't like water... i have a yamaha yfz which like abel said.. it flat *** whoop a raptor.. but it doesn't have reverse and the added torque that a raptor has would be better for the mud
p.s. don't anyone ever tell you that yfz's can't mud.. lol i rid with 4x4 quads and rarely get stuck.. and if i do.. hell they have a winch lol

Mud is relentless. It gets in your barings, seals, bushings, everything. If it gets in the air box even once, be prepaired to spend some money.
I know what I am talking about.
You have a better chance with the raptor, but if you are serious about mudding you will go for a utility ATV with a wench and big wheel kit.Now your scaring me lol.... i want to mud alot man, so the raptor 660r be a good candidate?
What about a Blaster?
if you want to save the money, go for it, **** 2 stroke, go YFZ, but if you want a weedeater engine ....Now your scaring me lol.... i want to mud alot man, so the raptor 660r be a good candidate?
What about a Blaster?
add in there, know how to use the clutch right, many people around here **** *** at itraptors are fine for the mud, and so are yfz's... just keep up with the maintence... ie, change oil, keep filter clean, grease it, lube your chain, check all seals and bearings after getting into water/mud..
