I think the JBL (Crown) is ideal because with 3 subs your going to have a goofy ohm load, but the JBL gives the same rated power at any load from 1 to 4 ohms. It doesnt' care.

Crown is the number one maker of concert pro audio amplifiers. They know how to make amps.

I got three JL Audio 12W3v2-2's. I want to buy an amp that is going to stand the test of time. I'm not trying to go more than $1000. I'd also like to get an amp that has good sq and power. thanx

Three dual 2 ohm subs = 1.34 or 3 ohm setup

and since those subs like 300 rms ea/ 900 for 3

I suggest JL 1000/1 @ 3 ohm

PDX 1000.1 @ 3 ohm

kicker 1000.1 @ 3 ohm

Rockford t800.2 @ 3 ohm bridged

Rockford t1000 @ 1.34 ohm

Sundown 1000 @ 1.34 ohm
