Who is a Pharmacists or Doctor here? (Fall allergy question)

its weird people say that benadryl knocks them out all my family but i can take 5 teaspoons of it and it dont do nothing to me
It depends how much you take, 1 pill will only make me sleepy for like 15 minutes, and its easy to overcome.

Take 2-4 or more and you just feel so drained its hard not to lie down and fall asleep.

There is a progressive shot to get rid of it, but you will be getting shots for a couple of years (or more) in progressively stronger doses. After you finish, it lasts typically between 5-10 years (yes I know this is a big range). I have a co-worker who got them for hayfever allergies and I considered it so I talked to my allergist about it, but decided to pass for the time being.

It's over the counter now, NOT Zyrtec-D... get the regular 24hour Prescription strength Zyrtec...

You need to take it once a day... if you have a Costco nearby... get their generic version there. It's called Allertec and you can get a 300ct. bottle cheap...

I've been taking Zyrtec for over 10 years... once a day... do it.

why not the Zyrtec-D? Im very stuffy.

that's weak, i've built up a tolerance to alot of allergy meds. i now just tough it out, and i get it badddddddd. i may snort some of that allergy gel but that's only if i'm bleeding from aall the sneezyign

Try Zyrtec-D ( cetirizine ) or continue using the Claritin-D as you have. Allegra works wonders for many people who have tried the above with no success but it is mighty expensive as the Allegra-D is brand only ( only because of the decongestant ).

If you can, obtain a prescription for regular Allegra (Fexofedandine) just take sudafed along with that. All the "-D" suffix is just indicates the product usually contains pseudoephedrine. Would be a lot cheaper! I'm a pharmacy tech so I hope this helps lol.

What is the difference? I thought honey is honey. Im using Great Value Honey(walmart brand)?
its probably because the local bees have been exposed to the type of shit thats causing your allergies. logic tells me that local honey would probably have the best effect...
