who here runs a t3 audio tss?

im wondering

how you like it?

what size your running?

how much power your giving it?

what size box and tuning you have it in?

and if youve got measured with it?

im lookin a running single tss 12 off around 2-2.5k compleely sealed off in my trunk and i want it to get loud. im switching from a custom nightshade 18 off a 3000d and that got loud for me but it wasnt completely sealed off. i may add a second one come tax time but i want something now that will get loud and low.

also for those who have ran many setups...what would you compare a tss to?

rated 1000 rms but can be built to take more...added spiders, different coil, added coling....

it will be built to handle 2k possibly more.

2 15's in a 8 cubed tuned to 35 hz. Somewhere around 80sq. in. of port i think....it's sealed off from the trunk. Running of a audiopipe 3k. It takes all the power i throw at it for as long as i want it to. Gonna buy another audiopipe and throw one at each.

I love em. Much Much Much louder than a single 18" BTL i had in my trunk previously.

i have 3 of the 10s, and off 1500 each the cones will hit spider landing if i want it to. ok sounding they will take a beating just stock suspension is to loose for big power imo

The old aluminum cone TSS was rated at 1000w rms.

The new TSS will handle 3k and can double as a SPL sub from our tests.

We will have a SQ spider option and a SQ spider option

I have reached 0ver 150 db with a single 12.

The TSS's are great though, I haven't had them myself, but they stay relatively cool off the 1500w each that Apocalypse is throwing at them.

I dont have any numbers on the 10s, just 12s.

The new TSS uses the same motor as the old.

The difference is that the New TSS will use the TSNS basket with the 10" spiders. Also has a beefed up coil, actually one of the largest gauge, flat copper coils out there.

And the cones will be a paper/carbon fiber.
