Who here is familiar with Orion 2500d?

its not stable at .5 is it and if its not i wouldnt both running it like that daily or you can just throw the $500 to me instead

Yeah it is. I heard that you can run them at .5 ohm perfectly fine if I set my gains correctly.

Nobody here knows exactly about what it would at .5ohm?? Ive only seen it up 1ohm on the charts.

I wasnt sure, I had a couple of 1200ds and I know when i tried it they got pretty hot fast so I didnt bother

That sucks. I got this amp because I heard that Orion's amp could take a beating. That this amp could run at .5ohm all day long.

could of just been my amps as well or the fact they might take more heat then i felt off them and I didnt want to risk it

Hopefully thats what it was. I doubt this amp will disappoint me from all the positive things ive heard about it.

1200ds wont run .5ohm unless its modded. and/or u runnin some nice juice 2 it. 2500d will and they are an beast of an amp and raisedin305 u got pm

Sht NO! orion is a very impressive amp by any means. You will be very happy with it. I was planning on using the 2500d but at the time i found a good trade for a few 1200ds so i went with them instead but they are great amps. Out of all the amps out I prefer to use only kicker zr or sx series, us amps, zapco, and orion. Those are the main amps I stick to

gotta love orion. only amp i would run. havent had any issue's wit it(knock on wood) and will continue 2 run there AMPS,lol
