Oh I know! And the fact that they FORCE you to use paypal basically and then link accounts and whatnot... its all pretty shady to me anyways. It sucks having to deal with either of them really.

Its called craigslist and cash. No fees and it works just as good. If you're a seller, you won't get as much if you want to move your product fast, but then again, you're not having to pay 10% in fees to Paypal and eBay. Used to list everything on eBay first, but it got so ridiculous paying $10 in fees altogether to sell a $100 item.

Ebay is overpriced with fees,offers very little in the way of fraud protection and

is run by a bunch of beancounting geeks with GREED the only motive....I used to sell

alot on ebay but have since cut down to just a few auctions here and there

Admittedly I used to do alot of shopping on eGhey, but its been rare to even at all for the last two years.

What I cant stand is that so many vendors list their junk that its hard to see what the little guys have for sale anymore. I might as well shop with a google search engine instead.

ebay is ok in my books. i don't sell on there so i see no fee's of any sort. i only buy and the only downfall i see is some of the shipping rates on items are way overpriced. i bought a 360 game brand new for 10 bucks, shipping was 7, when i receive the package the posted price was 2 bucks.. other than little issues like that i'm fine with.

oh and that max bid shit pisses me off, the crap where you bid like 15 bucks for an item then add a max bid of 15 more bucks incase if people start bidding on shit. i hate that. they need to show the real bid **** it.

bullshit. MAYBE if you are in a big city, but I for one would rather be advertised to the entire ****ing civilized world than sell on craigslist or locally (cheap ****s around here) my experience is even more scammers on craigslist and not as many people look.

but the thing is if it was overpriced why did you buy it in the first place? or was it just some ******* bidding and driving the price up? thats another thing i hate when people do... thing is ebay isnt even a REAL auction... anyone who's been to a real auction knows that... bidding doesnt stop until no one else bids, not at a ****ing preset time, its just set up for snipers.

I don't like the listing fees, nor the amount of listings that vendors have for one item. It should be like it was a few years ago, and instead of seeing 12,000 listings of the same item, you would see one item, with 12,000 available. I mainly buy on eBay, so fees don't bother me, and when I do, I usually put free shipping in my auctions, but jack up the amount I would like to get, by like $10 or what ever shipping would roughly cost. I usually list my items cheap, so they sell fast. I don't like automatic payments on the seller account. My bank declined PayPal from taking money out of the account, so eBay kept charging my seller account, and the bank finally let it through, and overdrew my bank account by $127, which I did not have. My bank paid me that back though, and I told them if I don't authorize it, don't accept it.
