who else hates that chick-fil-a isn't open sunday

To my understanding every Chik-fil-a is closed on Sundays due to God. They are a Christian establishment therfore the will not work on Sundays so they can spend the day worshiping Christ.

BTW - I saw somewhere on the internet they scored the highest of ANY fast food chain in healthyness; Even above Subway. There chicken nuggets are supposed to be the heathiest of any other nugget. Eat up people!!!

we have one in our local mall, as far as i know, it opens on sunday.

The mall may be open on Sunday but I'd wager most anything that the Chick-Fil-A isn't open...

Ive been to probably 30+chickfila's and all of them have been closed on sunday

The lady that founded it is a devout Christian and due to her beliefs and her faith she does no work whatsoever on Sundays. Period.

It is a corporate policy that any franchisee also be closed on Sundays with no exception.

Hard to believe anyone would really be upset about them giving their employees Sundays off. BTW, one of the best things about the place is that their employees are actually polite, clean, non dumbasses.

Yep - they've got a bit more stringent hiring policy than that of your average fast-food place.

Tis a wonder they have not been sued. Even if you have a policy that is applied evenly to all races (like HS diploma, test scores) you can be sued if it has a disparate impact on minorities. Go figure.

I always noticed they hire very young, white girls to work for them. Im sure the pay rate has a significant portion to do with it. I worked at a mall for 2 years in the store adjacent to Chic-fil-a and noticed that they never once hired a black person. I always found that kinda odd.

The ones near me have a lot of young girls, but I want to say I have seen a couple black people working there. I'll have to check next time I go...that would be very odd if that's the case.

The Chick-Fil-A spots I have been in here locally seems to have a pretty even mix of ethnicities employed there. From the minimal bit I've paid attention to such things, anyway?
