i don't know why there is hating going on against nash //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif it boggles my mind why people think billups deserves it more then nash. haven't checked the stats but nash was at something like 20 ppg and 10 apg. 7 suns were averaging career highs in ppg so that means he is the most valuable player

I don't think Chauncy should get the award, but I will do a lot of Nash hating. I just am not that impressed with him...I really think LeBron should have gotten it this year...Kobe in 2nd.

I agree about Lebron should have gotten it, but if anybody else in my eyes deserves it then it would be Steve Nash. They guy is just an awesome player up and down. He scores, passes, steals, great Free thrower, great team leader. I mean someone else said it, they are in the playoffs without Amare Stoudamire and made 2 guys that werent well known in Raja Bell and Boris Diaw into something special. Steve Nash just makes his team and players around him better.

Umm... Of course it doesn't qualify him for MVP. If you know or play basketball, gettin dunked on is one of the worst things that can happen to a player. With those two players being the two favorites, and then hearing that Steve Nash is a lock for MVP, I guarentee you that Kobe took that personal, and that dunk was more than just another victim to him. If Steve Nash wins MVP, it would be robbery. Lebron James is definitely not a better shooter than Kobe, but has my vote of who I would want to be my teammate. The kid is incredible, but Kobe just put it down this year, and you can't take that away from the guy. Personally I'm not a fan of Kobe, but he is a great basketball player, and you have to respect that.

81 points... do I need to say anything else? 35+ ppg, 5 assists, 5 rebs, and a couple steals.
Nash is good, so are the other people, but I like when the MVP goes to a player that is more valuable to their team than anyone else. Without nash the suns are still a top 3 team in the west. Without kobe the lakers are in dead last in their conferance and probably the nba.

Kobe can take over a game at any time, nash can too, but hes definately not strong enough physically to bring his team back from down lets say 8 with a minute or two left. Kobe is still the clutchest player in the league, and has the sickest fade-away shot i've ever seen.

I agree with this guy, but Michael Jordan has the sickest fade-away shot ever, Kobe comes in second. Kobe immitates MJ in everything he does. Watch how he plays the game, and you will think you're watching MJ alot of times. That's my personal opinion

Ummm K! How does he promote false hope? I mean they made the playoffs, and I think they will do well. They may not win it, but should do ok. I would love to have Steve Nash on my team. You guys are crazy hatting on Nash. Is one of the elites around and he is finally getting respect for it.
