Who can recommend a place for amp repair??

So, I've looked at pretty much every local place I can find. Nobody touches car amps anymore except for one place, and it's a flat rate of $180

The amp is a Cadence A7+HC that I picked up from Waco. Great physical shape, supposedly was new or almost new, but Cadence wants $50 an hour to repair it, and I a little nervous about sending it off and them wanting $200-$300 to fix the **** thing. Any recommendations?

It has very low output. Wired down to 1 ohm, I can max the gain and it does almost nothing. It did the same thing when I was running it for temp on a single 4 ohm sub, but I thought nothing of it at the time, since it was only at 4 ohms. When I max the gains, it doesn't get much louder than at minimum. No audible distortion whatsoever. I have to jack the bass boost to get any output at all, and I hate that, makes it sound like ****. According to an EE friend fro CAF, he says it sounds like something to do with the input stage, or an op-amp before the input stage.

Also, one other thing I noticed about this amp. I've seen pictures of the boards on some of these that said they were made by Zed Audio, but I can't find any sch writing on the board of mine. Were some later models not made by Zed??
