Thats my thinking, what can the government make the most tax money off of? something everyone need's on a daily basis....... Gas!
The prices of food have gone up, and some states even have specila "Food taxes", its crazy, but they will say they need that money to work for us.
If gas continues to rise, you will continue to see just about everything raise in price.

I wish i lived close enough to bike to work, or hell, even jog! There is a guy I pass on the road every morning, he rides a bike up the shoulder, I wonder if he is out exercising or on his way into work.

He has a large backpack so i assume he is on his way to work and has his work cloths in the bag.

Thats a good way to get to work unless u get tired out and ur job requires alot of physical work

Of all the things affecting the gas prices the President has such a small...small...small maybe .1% affect on that.

Lack of refineries (Pres has no control)

Tapping into reserves (pres has control, but this wont lower prices one bit due to the supply being less than demand)

OPEC (pres has minimal amount of effect. All he can do is beg for lower cost per barrel)(too bad OPEC sells for what people will buy for so its not going to do anything)

Nation that wants to become less dependent on oil (pres has already offered tax breaks on hybrids, soler energy breaks, and much more)

I live 44 miles away from work.
Im only 18 miles, but Id sure ride public transport if they had it in my area. I have tried to find someone to carpool with, but the one girl that lives close thinks her husband would have a problem with it.

Soooo....Im trying to move less than a mile from work. Ill pay more rent, but save an *** load in gas and come out ahead.

I carpool now with 2 others. It is gay at times, but I fill up once a week instead of every 3 days.
