Who all is an fan of 10" Woofers?

I had 4 10's Aq hdc3 10's on 2 saz3000d's and was in the high 52 and touched a 53 on a daily Musical setup. Luved it.

After 8 years in the car audio game, I wont run an 8 and i wont run a 12...

strictly 10... best for all around. Bumps when you need it to.. clean install... clean sound... what else could a man ask for

The size of the driver has nothing to do with how clean the sound is, nor with how clean the install is. That is stricly based on the properties of the individual driver and the quality of the install.

As for how loud it is, that is dependent on air movement. Basically a product of cone area, excursion, and install. Size of cone can be easily compensated for by install or use of multiple drivers.

i used to prefer nothing but 18s but after hearing the right installs and some thinking you cat go wrong with 10's. they are so gd space efficent! i can use 24 10s in same box size i can 4 18's while having more cone area FTMFW!

ive always wanted to try the smaller woofers....but then i just think, why spend $300 a woofer for like 4 tens and be in the whole for $1200, when i can just spend $300 1 time for an 18 and have almost the same exact cone area anyways?

if space is an issue just think u can fit more 10s and have more output. like 1 18 needs 6 cubes ported u can do 6 10s in the same amount of space and still have more cone area.
