White Walls?

Might seem like a dumb question, but don't know much of anything about tires/rims.

I have a 1999 Tahoe soon to have a 3" body lift. A friend of mine is selling me his old 20" Daytons w/tires for cheap. Problem is, the tires are kind of ratty. I was planning on getting some new ones anyway, but I want something different. I don't care for the look of low profile tires. I like to see a big fat black shiny tire. I really like the way mud grapplers look, but I won't be going off road and I hear they f up your gas mileage.

I was thinking it might look kind of cool to have white wall tires, as I've never seen them on this type of truck. I was just wondering if it's possible to get them for this truck to fit on the 20" Dayton's.

Also, if anyone knows anyone who has put white walls on a Tahoe or other more modern truck, I would really like to see some pictures. Can't find any online so far...

Thanks.

There is a Tahoe at the doctors office I go to in CT, they are probably 22's with a decent (and practical) height whitewall with the thing yellowish circle also going around it.

If you want I can take a pic in a few weeks when I go back it looks pretty sweet IMO

just a FYI any tire with white letters you can make a whitewall however big you want, might wanna pick up a lowrider mag, tons of companies in there that have goofy size whitewalls, still think it will look ghey with a body lift though

I don't think I'll end up going with the white walls after all. I'm still hoping to see some pics if anyone else has them. I think I'll just photoshop a pic of my truck tonight to get the effect...

But I do have another question: I just got my rims from my padnah. I don't think they are actually "Dayton" brand. They're a little more scarred up than I expected, but they'll do for now for cheap.

The rims have something wrong with the little... spike thing... hub cap... thing... and they have to be snugged down with a pipe wrench. This has caused them to get all scarred up and ugly. I'd like to see about replacing them, but I have no idea what to look up. I could go to local shops (and probably will) but I'd like to try to find them online.

The spike thing screws onto the little universal lug... thing (Can't you tell I'm an expert?) to hold the rim on. I just really need to replace the caps, but if I need the whole assembly I'll buy that.

Here are a couple pics of what I got.
