Whine from 1 channel of amp

Alright I think I messed something up, my ******* lost track of a wire and ran my channel 3&4 bridged right into channel 1. There is a pretty bad whine only through channel 1 now and I hooked up my multimeter on channel 1 & 2 to set gains and channel 1 was only putting out about 1v compared to 11v on the 2nd channel (which if i figured correctly is what it should be for 125w @ 4ohms.

Im going to do some basic troubleshooting to make sure its coming from the amp but I want to know what happened in the amp, what blew and what would need to be repaired to fix this issue.

Thanks in advance everyone!

Headunit : kenwood ddx370

amp: soundstream reference 760.4

speakers: sony gs1720s components, tweeter replaced w/ apline type r

No not the input basically I had my sub unplugged @ the sub and I was hooking up my crossover on channel one so I grab what I thought was the speaker wire from my crossover and plug it in to channel 1 and the amp goes into protect and shuts off......I hooked up my 3 and 4 channels output bridged into the output for channel 1 thinking it was my crossover......

BUT....Now that that confusing *** explanation is over with, I went out to test the amp when unplugged from the head unit so i switched the rcas to see if the whine switched sides....the noise went away and didn't come back when I plugged them back in correctly

So im not sure what the cause of this was but i will be investigating some more.
