first of all i think in a day like today that we live in any woman who stands by her man and supports him in everything and is honest and faithful deserves the moon and everything within a million miles within it..secondly i called JE about the $700 and asked about the clarity and she said she cant tell me because it is not certified..

Nope not certified, but that did not really matter to me you are kind of paying for the GIA or whatever certification.

I have been shopping for six months. You dont need a VVS or VS. SI1 or Two is a great cut for the ***** eye. I wouldnt buy an I though. G H I is a great value and you cant tell it has any color, unless right next to a D. With an SI1 its tough to see any flaws unless its under magnification. I dont know many people that walk around with a loop

the thing is when you look at the 1.75ct which has a lower grade and you look at the 1.00 ct which has a higher grade even thru a website pic you can see the lower grade one from the two..its foggy

To the OP, its the thought that counts. Congrats on being a decent person and buying a family member something when they always sacrifice for others. I think you should study them in person (which I'm sure you will/have) and figure out which one you think she will like, then ask some random woman walking by what she thinks.

If you didn't put the karat or quality in the thread then others would be picking just based on looks.
