Which would you reccommend between these brands?

I'm going to be running a new setup in my 05' Duramax. I'm looking at the following brands for amps, and would like to know your opinions..

Rockford Fosgate Power

Elemental Designs Nine.X

Phoenix Gold Titanium (Older but still considering)

ARC Audio XXK or SE

I like the ARC, but the RF have the power I'm looking for. Just don't know about their current quality.

With a handle like Orion Man, how about running some old school Orion power with incredible sound quality like the XTR-100 & XTR-200. Those amps leave most of the currently available amps in the dust.

Of course the XTR's & NT's are still expensive, quality costs.

Im in the process of doing my CC Duramax truck also... I just went with the older Kicker zx series amps to run my CDT mids/highs and 3 RE 8" subs.

Nice. Does it sound good? I am indecisive about the amps because of the fact there are so many good brands on the market.

The RF amps I want are the "T" series Power. The big boys. I have heard their quality isn't there like it used to be.

I would love to run a pair of the old-skool Orion XTR amps, but finding them in good shape takes a while and I think I would rather spend my money on some new ones.

I happen to have a pair in excellent shape and perfect working order. These will outperform anything out there today in their power range and beyond. (Dampening Factor of 1000, S/N Ratio of 115db, and THD at 0.005%)

They look stunning too! I will include the DIN to RCA adapter's and they both have the wiring harnesses. These are still considered "the best of the best" I am only selling them because I just got a trio of the HiFonics Series VIII Platinum High Current amps and just did the changeover.

I agree. I have looked and looked, but everything is so flippin' expensive. My handle is based on my nickname in high school. Orion is all I ran. Loved their equipment to death until DEI got ahold of them.

You just recently missed a hell of a deal on eBay, a guy was selling an NT100, NT200, NT300 BIQ, NT200BIX brand new in boxes with all the Orion OEM factory mini-XLR cabling it went for $1000. A steal really considering what that gear sold for brand new in 1997 and the sound quality and durability would be tough if not impossible to beat.

I am very pleased with my old school ZED audio Steve Mantz designed and built HiFonics Series VIII Platinum High Current amps. I recently contacted Steve and he offers rework and updates on for my amps so I am going to start sending them to him one at a time.

ARC SE is in a different league than the ones you listed. I like the XXK and Foose amps myself. The new Kar series looks promising also.
