Which would you do?

I purchased a DC 12" level 4 from mylow and also a AQ HDC3 18" from wes669. I am having double07 build me a box for either one. Both enclosures are slightly expensive but you get what you pay for. So what I need to hear from you guys with experience with these brand of subs is, which would you run? Im leaning all over the HDC3 18. I have JUST enough space to build a box for the 18" for proper specs needed. The amp I have is an old school Cadence Z1200. Ill bridge the sub (which ever) down to 1 ohm (DC sub) which should put power to about 1200 rms. The AQ, if I remember resistance right, will be bridged down to 2 ohm so 800 rms. What the **** would you run? I have an issue playing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif with different subs. I have a couple already in boxes and switch them around from time to time.

I'm leaning towards the 18. I need to dmm the vc's to see what resistance is. I'm pretty sure it's dvc 4 ohm. I'll take the sub down to 2. And I'm already on the hunt for a 3000 rms amp. Also debating that... Lol

Yes I will. I'm hunting for a 3000 rms amp now. Soon I'll decide what one to get and switch it out. If I remember right, the cadence was bench tested and was around 1400 rms @ 1 ohm around 14 v. It'll move the 18" but I know it'll want more. So will I! Lol

Not but, for real the AQ is a no brainer you are talking an 18 vs a 12.

You're comparing an 18" sub to a 12" sub...a better comparison would be a 12" hdc to the 12" DC

If you got the room for the 18, go for it...its like twice the cone area.

I've pm'ed double07 about 45 times with numerous measurements to make sure. Actually it was close! He kept calculating and the way the back seats recline on a decline was the only way he could figure out 6 cf.. More space on the bottom which allowed.
