which would you choose?

in my gallery you can see one box I built .... no specs just made a box. It still sits in my garage, its for 1 12 and its sealed and I never ever even tested it. I made it with 3/4 mdf and its sealed solid.

DUDE THATS HARD CORE CUSTOM! I just want to simply carpet and thats seems tricky to me, lol.
Like everyone else has said, its super simple. I didn't even look at tutorials when I carpeted my first ever Autotuba (folded horn) box and it came out quite nice. As long as you possess common sense it won't give you any problems

So no spray adhesive? That's what used once upon a time . When making a box I notice many use air gun nails . I used screws

is a nail gun good enough, that would make it much easier. What type of nails or nail gun would you recommend?

To each their own. I use the 3m spray adhesive that comes in a green can. The key is to spray an even coat onto the box, apply the carpet and then pull the carpet back and let the glue sit for about 15-30 seconds. It will start to set and become tacky, at which point you can apply the carpet. If you just put the carpet on right away it doesn't want to stick well and slides around a lot which is a pain.

Also, make sure you get a fresh pack of razor blades. You want them to be really, really sharp. Expect to use 2-3 when carpetting a box. You'll know right away when one becomes dull, since it will just want to rip and fray the carpet.
