Which would you buy..........

I just bought a 800 watt audiobahn a8000t amp on ebay brand new for 125 and now im looking for a sub. Im looking at a bandpass ABP122N but i heard their shit?

Ive seen a ton of really cheap L5's and DCVR12's complete and new in the box. Both were under 250 new. Are these subs good? I heard their really bad on this forum but nobody has really explained how. But i heard other places that the Dcvr's sound really good?

Im also looking at some MTX MZS1204 brand new on ebay in a sledgehammer enclosure. i havent heard nothing at all about these.

Which of these or anyothers would you recomend. Im looking for something cheap that has decent bang and doesnt sound muddy. any suggestions

Kicker L5's are good, and so are the CVR's. They would be better than the low-level MTX's you mentioned.

l5 ..ive heard 2 10 cvrs on that same amp..sounded alright

So if it was between 2 12 ported factory cvr's and a ported 12 L5 wouldnt the cvr's be better all the local places say that square subs sound like shit and arent worth it. or would u chose a bandpass audiobahn ABP122N sub?

get an L7 12 or 10!!! these are good subs, and u can always easily upgraded!

I have a kicker l5 in kickers prefabbed ported box and it doesn't sound like crap at all. It is a 10" and has WAY better sq then most subwoofer s I here in my town with spl on hand too! I actually may be looking to get rid of it though and go with 2 15's or 2 12's. Iw ill sell it for pretty cheap and its only about a month old. LMK if your interested

i would go with the mtx subs. i have the mxs1204's and they pound like a mother ****er. i dont know how the mzs1204's sound like though. that amp you bought would be perfect for some mxs1204's.

Square subs dont sound like ***.. I loved my L7's when i had them years ago. They sounded awsome and got **** loud. i am curently running the audiobahn dual 12" bandpass box off that amp and if your an everyday listener it ponds, 139.7dbs im not saying its the best but you can get the prefab bandpass boxx shipped for under 150, and again, it sounds really loud, check my truck out at this page, its ot competition but i sounds good to me http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2054846
