the kickers, they are bigger. Therefore they will move more air, and that results in more bass.

Not necessarily bud...you have to take into account:

Sd (cone area)

Acutal linear Xmax

Those two result in effective displacement, therefore...two 12's COULD outplace 2 15's. That is if the 12's are superior.

I'd go with the hx2's ported...they'll be loud...port them low @ 30hz. peace

which HX2 r you talking about Power Hx2 or Punch Hx2

moving faster = higher note being played
has nothin to do with it... lol

total displacement in their current situation is what will determine how loud they are respectively

whichever hx2 your getting i would recommend the hx2 over the cvr's. Even tho i heard a sing ported power hx2 12 inch, being run at only like 800 watts and the thing really did slam.

Superior subwoofer....or superior in those specs...(usually...a superior subwoofer IS superior in those specs...also BL plays a role as well.) peace

2 12in. Fosgate HX2

2 15in. Kicker Comp VR

Rockford makes terrible subs and everything else for that matter. However if you like audible diarrhea sounds then hx2 is your sub.
