Which would give me wat i want (SQL)

i would build one but dont have the tools to do it and really couldnt pay anyone on here to make one, btw how much would one cost with the same specs if someone where to make it for me, how much would i be saving.

oh and more opinions, these are my final choices.

well do you havea jig saw?

glue screws a screw driver, and silicon sealant?

thats all you need my friend! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you can have your local hardware store (home depot/lowes) to mkae the initial cuts for you

if you port an enclosure you would get like a 3db gain correct, say you had a 1000w amp and wanted to gain 3 db and wanted to stay sealed how much more power would you need to add? Not questioning anyones opinion outa my choices but just want to know because i dont know how you figure 1 15in. sub with about 1000w can be louder than two 15in. subs with 1500w and 2 12in. subs ported with about 200w more?

oh and more opinions wouldnt hurt! SPL, And SQL

I would go with choice #3

im not sure exactly what your asking in your question though. By rule of thumb, you need to double power to gain 3dB I believe. But in all practicality, it depends on so many factors.

would or should i hear a difference from the setup i had before which consisted of 2 15in. CVRs sealed off a BX1000D if i were to get the 2 12in. type rs tuned to 30hz of a Orion 1200d or is that something i would need to find out?
