just as the title says 2-JL8W3V3 or 1-JL10W3V3 in a reg cab mini truck or other recomendations not much room sub depth wise and only about .8^ total vol, thanks for the help

It depends on the vehicle, the enclosure, power, deadening. Quite a few variables to be considered.

Exactly. It all depends on what sort of enclosure you're running, what amplifier, what vehicle, what music you listen to (i.e. loud to the ear or loud to the mic), and numerous other factors.

Are you going to run those narrow "truck boxes' ? I have seen 2 of those behind regular cab Ranger,the boxes held 2 12" subs and an old school Sherwod 380---1997 Ranger.He had some sort of components in the doors.One of the new Jl10w3-3-4's will make a little noise.It would be more fun if you could get those 8's somewhere good in the front of those door panels,and forget about those boxes.I used to have a 1975 GMC Stepside,black ,lowered w / 295/50's bfgoodriches TA'S....in the doors--1 6x9 tri-ax and 1 6.5" co-ax and with the size of those doors it sounded pretty good. Some Ideas............................

this is the box i plan on running for two eights i would like togo ported

and same design for one 10 just the amp rack will be moved over on the drivers sde sub on pass it will be a single chamber box, ill be running a alpine V12 600Rms x 1 at 4ohm, its going in a 03 ranger reg cab and probly no sound deadning unless it ratles too much, and i listen to mostly rock but sometimes rap wit low bass im not going for comps maybe one to see what its doing -maybe ill be the only one in my class so i know ill win-LOL, i was just wanting to hear the bass from outside the truck
