Which would benefit more?

Well, I guess it's about time to start building up my electrical. I want to hold a decent voltage steady with no severe drops - 14-14.4v.

I'm gonna be running 2000+ RMS through my system...a Hifonics XX Hercules. I want it to handle this wattage solidly, no dimming, etc.

Here's my stock equipment:

Denso 130 amp 12V alternator

Stock battery: 710 CCA, 800 CA

Big 3 will be done in 1/0 AWG soon.

So I have some questions.

1. Which would benefit me more first? A better battery, or a higher output alternator...I'm sure I'd have to get one custom made my trucks somewhat new on the market and it's tough to find parts like that.

2. What would be a good choice battery for my application? I've been looking at Kinetik or Optima mainly.

3. Who could make me a custom alternator if I can't find one? Or are some alts "universal".

4. How many amps of an alternator would be sufficient for me? I was thinking 180-200.

5. Am I gonna need another battery by the amp? Or can I get away with just placing one kickass battery under the hood?
