Which would be louder

Ok i am thinking of putting two 4" comp sets in my front doors, they will fit in the factory 6x9 location. two fours in each door, and two tweets where the factory 3.5"s go in the pillar.

out of the options i am gonna list which will be louder.

2 4" comp sets

1 6.5" comp set

1 6x9" comp set

i also plan to put two 8" subs in the rear doors to help with midbass if i do the two 4" comp sets.

I want to have some kind of front stage that will com close to keeping up with a bottom end in the 147& up range.

i was looking several comp sets.....

6.5" diamond s600s's for 199$

Two RF FNQ 4" sets =199$

Phoenis gold RSD's=125$

and open to other suggestions......will be purchasing at the end of this week....so imput is appreciated.

6.5" comp set is the way to go.

i had two sets of soundstream rf60c's in my truck before and it wasn't loud enough.....so well will see with the new setup...

looked at the pioneer premier c720s's also......also have been looking at the type r's, and the diamond audio's even harder.......

Pioneer TS-D720C comps for the front on a good clean 2x80-120w rms.

Have you considered the CDT M6+ or the ES-06+ for the rears? The CDT dealers here on the forum have stated that they can get quite low.

a good 6 1/2" set should be all you need. Just be sure to aim them so the sound is reaching you and not being obstructed.

i am thinking of doing another 6.5" setup with the RSD's, and aim them more upward....should be able to do so with the 6x9 opening giving me a little working room to make a mount angled upward.

i had 2 sets of 6.5" comps before, it was loud but not loud enough for me, so i am trying to go above that this time. However one comp set was in the rear of the truck and one in the front.
