aight trying to see how these compare.i need my daily setup to get loud.how well does these compare.(going into a 1988 box chevy)

1)-2 3004spl

2)-2 type x 12's

3)-2 type r 15's

4)-3 type r 12's

tryna stay 400 or below still got to get amps,thinkin bout 2 directed 1500d's or a 2400d.all will be in a ported set-up.

well the 2 15inch R's obviously, but i'd personally get 3 3004spls, that'd be pretty loud

I'd go with the Pioneers, excellent performance for the money.

The Typre R's are good too so either way you'll be alright.

Ruling out the type X and the 15's for price/space issues.

the 3 pioneers will DEFINATLY be loud...expessially ported, i heard 4 2504spls (10inch version which i own) sealed and it was verrrrry loud and maintained pretty good sq...pioneer ftw on this one

Its definately between the 3 pioneers and the two 15" type-r's. What size are the pioneers you are talking about, 12"s or 15"s?

thinkin bout 12's in the pioneer class.my plan at 1st was to get just 2 of them,but i need to fill my trunk so thats when i did some rethinkin.now i'm leaning towards 3 3004's or the 15's.

I just dont care for the Pioneer Sub Woofer Line of products.(Not saying there not loud, just don't like Pioneer Subs!!!!)

Well I own the alpine type R's and I am doing pretty good numbers in a sealed box, yes I said sealed. But I would still recommend doing the pioneers 3004 spl line. Amazing sub and sound good and wont break the bank. I might just buy 2 of these and build a sealed box and compare each set. Good luck!

How can you guys say 2 15" type-r would hit harder then 3 12" type-r. Never heard pioneers except the **** crap kind so my vote is for the 3 type-r.

Type R....any of em with 1000W minimum.... i'd erase the Type X here, great SQ sub tho
