Which will be louder

Ok guys, i am upgrading fom 2 12's to a 15....I was under the impression that the 15 would be quite a bit louder, but with a lot of talk about 2 12 k's being louder than a 15A I am wondering.

Can someone put my mind at ease....I am getting a 15 A to replace my 2 12" pioneer pro vccs. I am putting a little over 300RMS into the pioneers and will be putting about 800 or 900 into the A. The A should be louder correct...more power, triple the excursion, and almost as much cone area.

usually, i think more cone area would result in a higher spl, which would mean that your pioneer's would be louder, but considering you're only sending them 300W, and your going to sending the A 800-900, and it's a 15, i would say the A would be louder, but it's really hard to say, considering it depends on the box, and the car, etc.
