well my buddy that has these subs (off a hifonics 1500d (underpowered)) was 2 cars behind me and MY mirrors were flappin (not vibrating) ?flapping? his are port up subs up, but i am very interested in porting towards the back if i can get ^^those kind of results^^ how far away from the back wall does the port need to be?does how high the box sit change anything??i plan on having it sit on the floor of the truck, will this have any affects????thanks a million for all the advice "bri"!!

my box sits on the floor, under the seat. the port opens flush with the rear of the box and the box is pushed back all of the way to that small ledge directly behind the seat.

so about 5-7 in. between the wall and the port(s)??sounds good, thanks again man i appreciate it a lot......what kind of tuning do you think i should go with??im wanting low 30's, like 2 cubes apiece @ 32???I want DEEP bass, something that'll shake your chest.....is 32 too high??

32 should be good. i am not even sure what mine is. it has really strong upper bass but has no problem picking up 95% of all low bass.

sounds good, i'm buying the subs friday and the box will be done sometime next week........
