i got box design done couple months ago and then ended up thinkin bout sellin it all. Now, im goin ahead and building new 4th order box to go in expedition for 2 bl 18's. Port can either be fired forward between front seats or to the rear. I would think to the rear would be louder but the back door would really rattle alot worse than now, forward should sound better. any suggestions? here is pic of design

guy that designed it has done several 4th orders, so i will leave it. sealed is around 4 cubes, ported is around 19 or so

my bad... didnt see any specs so i went off of the rendering

but i agree with firing position. depends on what your looking for, i would think the rattle could be suppressed with proper deadening

i have 2 boxes of stinger roadkill on roof, back door and other 4 doors now, and with subs up, port back the back door is terrible. Im gettin windshield wiper shaved off back door next week, which will help alot. And the sheetmetal is tearin where the window latch is now, already been welded up once, will be sheetmetaled when wiper is shaved. I think i am goin to turn port to front since its just daily driver, no competing

oh yeah, i didnt post specs, but you are right it does look small, lol

80 didnt, iamamp3pimp (robin) designed it, he told me to try it both ways, i was just seein if anyone had one like this. Most 4th orders i c in suv's are walled off with big port on driver side, but i didnt want to do wall right now. This is like galacticmonkeys box kinda

chris at fisherdesigns did my box i am using now, and its really loud and sounds good on just about everything, but ive had it for over a year like this and ready for a change
