Both are the same price and both have great reviews.

Tbh the Phillips would've been bought already but its a 40" and offers no wm ext warrenty unlike their other refurbs, I really need a 42 to give me those extra couple inches as a space filler.

I want to stay under 400, If I can get a good reman for around 300-325 I can get a nice 3-4 year service plan with it (Pref Walmart).

I'm not super picky but I don't want a no-name unless its a stupid low price. Samsung, lg and Panny ect are above my spending limit so I'm stuck with Rca and Phillips for pretty much lower- middle of the road brands.

I actually bought a 55" Panasonic Plasma because I just don't like the look of LCD.

But next time it will definately be a OLED of some retarded size. I did get to see one when I was overseas.....fucking stupid thin, its like hanging a plate of glass on your wall.

Neither. LED or bust. And I'd say Vizio. I got my 32" Vizio for just over $300 shipped on ebay. A store sells them, specializes in open-box returns, and they sell them.

I'd have alot more options if I wasn't such a tightwad. But I don't "game", all I do is watch basic shiz and movies once and a while. I just find it difficult to spend uber amounts on something that will only serve as a time waster.

I'm just giving an example brah. I'd rather spend a little bit more and get a better brand with modern technology, than technology that's going out the window. IF I had to choose between Plasma and LCD, I'd pick Plasma. But it wouldn't be Phillips or RCA >.

RCA TVs are garbage, I get more returned at work than all other brands combined.

If it's 1080p I'd get the Samsung you're lookin at.
