I am building another box for my ava since i'm tired of fixing the aeroport/dayton ports in the fiberglass box but i was wondering which would be better or more specifically what would be the advantages/ disadvantages between having
1. 3.5 cubes@30hz with 2.75 inch slot port
1. 3.5cubes@32hz with 3 inch slot port
I have had it in 3.0cubes@30hz and 3.5@28hz and the differences was that it had a lil more punch in the 3.0 and more lowend in the 3.5 cube enclosure (actually they where the same box but i added a .5 cube section to it to get the volume/lower tune) and i like the 3.5@28hz more and would like o get as close to that one as i can ( i can't fit 3.5@28hz and still have big enough port) but i wonder would 2hz make as big a difference in these enclosures since there's no difference in volume and would i loose any spl or get port noise with the 2.75 port??
